The Miami Dolphins signed San Antonio Brahmas linebacker Wyatt Ray on Monday. The Brahmas will retain Ray’s rights should he return to the UFL.

Wyatt Ray is six foot three and weighs 258 pounds. The 27-year-old from Boca Raton, Florida, signed with the Houston Roughnecks (XFL) on October 20, 2023. Ray signed with the Cleveland Browns as an undrafted free agent on May 3, 2019. He also spent time with the Houston Texans, Buffalo Bills, New York Jets, Tennessee Titans, Cincinnati Bengals, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Denver Broncos. He played 23 NFL games making 20 tackles (9 solo, 11 assists), one tackle for loss, three quarterback hits, two sacks, and one forced fumble.

Collegiately, Ray played four seasons at Boston College (2015-18) making 114 tackles (47 solo, 67 assists), 24 tackles for loss, 16.5 sacks, one interception for 24 yards, four pass breakups, one forced fumble, and one blocked kick in 50 games for the Eagles. He was named Third Team All-ACC in 2018.
