The Cleveland Browns signed Houston Roughnecks linebacker Marvin Moody on Wednesday according to Aaron Wilson.

Marvin Moody is six foot two and weighs 230 pounds. The 25-year-old from Bryant, Arkansas, went undrafted in the 2022 NFL Draft. Next, he was allocated to the St. Louis Battlehawks (XFL) in the 2023 XFL Draft. However, he did not play for the Battlehawks in 2023.

Then, he signed with the Houston Roughnecks on January 23, 2024. In 2024, Moody made 40 tackles (26 solo, 14 assists), two tackles for loss, and one pass breakup in 10 games.

Collegiately, Moody played five seasons at Tulane (2017-21) making 243 tackles (143 solo, 100 assists), 19 tackles for loss, four sacks, three pass breakups, and one fumble recovery in 59 games for the Mean Green.
