The Birmingham Stallions re-signed tight end Jordan Thomas on Friday according to the UFL Transactions page.

Jordan Thomas is six foot five and weighs 277 pounds. The 27-year-old from Sumrall, Mississippi, signed with the Birmingham Stallions on January 19, 2024. In 2024, Thomas made four catches for 75 yards in 10 games helping the Stallions their third consecutive championship including winning the UFL championship 25-0 over the San Antonio Brahmas.

After the season, Thomas signed with the Atlanta Falcons on August 1, 2024. He made one catch for 6 yards in two preseason games. The Falcons released him on August 25, 2024.

Thomas was drafted by the Houston Texans in the sixth round (211th pick) in the 2018 NFL Draft. He also had stints with the Arizona Cardinals, New England Patriots, Indianapolis Colts, and the Detroit Lions. He played 27 games, of which 12 were starts making 22 catches for 226 yards and five touchdowns.

Then, Jordan was drafted by the St. Louis Battlehawks (XFL) in the seventh round (50th pick) of the 2023 XFL Draft. He played one game for the Battlehawks in 2023 but recorded no stats. He was released by the Battlehawks on March 14, 2023. After St. Louis, he signed with the Orlando Guardians and played four games for the Guardians making eight catches for 148 yards, three touchdowns, and one tackle (1 assist).

Collegiately, Thomas played one season at East Central Community College in 2015 making 18 catches for 226 yards, and four touchdowns in 10 games for the Warriors. He helped the team to an 8-3 record appearing in the MACJC playoffs and an invitation to the C.H.A.M.P.S. Heart of Texas Bowl in Copperas Cove, Texas.

Then, Thomas transferred to Mississippi State (2016-17) making 31 catches for 311 yards, and four touchdowns in 25 games for the Bulldogs. He was a participant in the 2018 East-West Shrine Bowl.
