The Penn State Nittany Lions (2-0) hosted the Bowling Green Falcons (1-1) on Saturday afternoon from Beaver Stadium. The Nittany Lions had 438 yards on offense (204 yards passing, 234 yards rushing) and 21 first downs on their way to beating the Falcons 34-27.

Penn State quarterback Drew Allar completed 13 of 20 passes (65%) for 204 yards, two touchdowns, one interception, 7 carries for 7 yards, and one touchdown. Running back Nicholas Singleton had 13 carries for 119 yards, one touchdown, one catch for 14 yards, and one touchdown.

Tight end Tyler Warren made 8 catches for 146 yards, and wide receiver Omari Evans made two catches for 34 yards and one touchdown. Penn State’s defense made 63 tackles, three tackles for loss, two interceptions, and five pass breakups.

Bowling Green had 375 yards on offense (254 yards passing, 121 yards rushing) and 20 first downs. Quarterback Connor Bazelak completed 25 of 39 passes (64.1%) for 254 yards, two touchdowns, two interceptions, and one carry for two yards. Running back Jaison Patterson had 16 carries for 57 yards and one catch for one yard.

Tight end Harold Fannin Jr. made 11 catches for 137 yards, and one touchdown, and wide receiver Malcolm Johnson Jr. made eight catches for 81 yards and one touchdown. Bowling Green’s defense made 55 tackles, four tackles for loss, two sacks, one interception, and two pass breakups.
