The Ottawa Redblacks signed running back Percy Agyei-Obese to the practice squad on Wednesday.
Percy Agyei-Obese is six foot and weighs 213 pounds. The 25-year-old from Frederick, Maryland, signed with the B.C. Lions on December 27, 2023. He played two preseason games with nine carries for 39 yards, and four catches for 18 yards. The Lions released him on June 2, 2024.
Collegiately, Agyei-Obese played six seasons at James Madison University (2017-22) with 694 carries for 3,503 yards, 39 touchdowns, 18 catches for 119 yards, and one kick return for 16 yards in 60 games for the Dukes.
In 2022, Agyei-Obese had 159 carries for 908 yards, eight touchdowns, and two catches for 11 yards in ten games. He was a two-time First Team All-CAA and three-time VaSID First Team All-State.
