The Arlington Renegades signed wide receiver Todd Simmons Jr. on Tuesday.
Todd Simmons Jr. is six foot one and weighs 190 pounds. A native of Washington, D.C., Simmons Jr. went undrafted in the 2023 NFL Draft and attended the Chicago Bears and Las Vegas Raiders rookie minicamps. Next, Simmons Jr. had signed with the Arlington Renegades before the XFL and USFL merged to form the United Football League (UFL).
Simmons Jr. went unprotected and became a free agent. Then, he took his talents to indoor football playing for the Jersey Bearcats (AAL) and the Harrisburg Stampede (AIF) where he scored 12 touchdowns in eight games. After the season, he signed with the Baltimore Ravens on July 6, 2024.
Collegiately, Simmons played at Wagner in 2021 making nine catches for 130 yards, one touchdown, and one tackle (1 solo) in seven games for the Falcons. Then, he transferred to the University of Dubuque in 2022 making 42 catches for 548 yards, and four touchdowns in 10 games for the Spartans.
