The NTT IndyCar Series held qualifying for the final time of the season on Saturday afternoon to set the field for Sunday’s Big Machine Music City Grand Prix at the Nashville Superspeedway.
Andretti Global driver Kyle Kirkwood won his first pole of the season with a lap time of 47.5189 at 201.520 mph. Team Penske driver Josef Newgarden qualified second with a lap time of 47.5584 at 201.352 mph.
For the championship, Will Power will start fourth with a lap time of 47.7301 at 200.628 mph, Scott McLaughlin will start ninth with a lap time of 47.8250 at 200.230 mph, and Alex Palou will start 15th with a lap time of 47.9924 at 199.532.
