The Michigan Panthers re-signed defensive lineman Walter Palmore on Wednesday according to the UFL Transactions page.

Walter Palmore is six foot three and weighs 317 pounds. The 28-year-old from Columbus, Georgia, made 19 tackles (11 solo, 8 assists), four tackles for loss, one sack, one pass breakup, and one forced fumble in 10 games. In the 2024 USFL Conference Championship game against the Birmingham Stallions, Palmore made three tackles (2 solo, 1 assist).

He was released by the Panthers on August 10, 2024, and signed with the Carolina Panthers on August 11, 2024. He played in two preseason games making 8 tackles (1 solo, 7 assists) and one pass breakup. The Panthers released him on August 30, 2024.

Palmore signed with the Houston Texans as an undrafted free agent on May 10, 2019. He was released by the Texans on August 31, 2019. Next, Palmore played four the Houston Roughnecks (XFL) in 2020 making six tackles (5 solo, 1 assist) and half a sack in five games for the XFL shut down due to COVID-19.

Then, Palmore signed with the Dallas Cowboys on October 21, 2020. Palmore played one game for the Cowboys in 2020 making one tackle (1 assist). He was released by the Cowboys on May 5, 2021, and signed with the Seattle Seahawks on May 13, 2021. Seattle released him on August 16, 2021, and he signed with the Carolina Panthers on August 18, 2021. He was released six days later.

Palmore signed with the Michigan Panthers (USFL) on April 1, 2022. In 2022, he made 17 tackles (8 solo, 9 assists) and one forced fumble in nine games. A year later, Palmore made 30 tackles (16 solo, 14 assists) and one fumble recovery in 10 games. In the 2023 USFL Playoffs, he made two tackles (1 solo, 1 assist).

Collegiately, Palmore played two seasons at Eastern Arizona Community College (2015-16) making 71 tackles (44 solo, 27 assists), 1.5 tackles for loss, 8 sacks, and one forced fumble in 21 games for the Fighting Gila Monsters.

Then, Palmore transferred to Missouri (2017-18) making 44 tackles (25 solo, 19 assists), six tackles for loss, one sack, two pass breakups, and one blocked kick in 23 games for the Tigers.
