The Michigan Panthers re-signed wide receiver Samson Nacua on Monday according to the UFL Transactions page.
Samson Nacua is six foot four and weighs 195 pounds. The 26-year-old from Las Vegas, Nevada, signed with the Michigan Panthers on October 31, 2023, but was released on March 23, 2024. He later re-signed with the Panthers on April 9, 2024. In 2024, Nacua made 11 catches for 125 yards in seven games.
The Panthers released him on August 2, 2024, and he signed with the New Orleans Saints on the same day. Nacua played three preseason games making two catches for 19 yards. The Saints released him on August 27, 2024.
Nacua signed with the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted free agent on May 13, 2022. Then, Nacua signed with the Pittsburgh Maulers (USFL) on November 9, 2022. He was targeted two times in two games for the Pittsburgh Maulers in 2023.
Collegiately, Nacua played four seasons at Utah (2017-20) with 82 catches for 1,015 yards, 11 touchdowns, one carry for three yards, and one punt return for 18 yards in 45 games for the Utes. Then, Nacua transferred to BYU in 2021 with 21 catches for 329 yards, three touchdowns, seven carries for 29 yards, and one touchdown in 13 games for the Cougars.
