The San Antonio Brahmas signed offensive lineman Willie Tyler on Tuesday according to the UFL Transactions page.

Willie Tyler is six foot six and weighs 310 pounds. The 24-year-old from Racine, Wisconsin, signed with the New York Jets as an undrafted free agent on May 2, 2024. He played three preseason games and the Jets released him on August 27, 2024.

Collegiately, Tyler played one season at Iowa Western Community College in 2018 playing two games for the Reivers. The Reivers went 10-1 that season, including winning the Graphic Edge Bowl. Next, Tyler transferred to Texas (2019-20) but he did not play for the Longhorns.

Then, Tyler transferred to the University of Louisiana-Monroe in 2021 playing nine games for the Warhawks. Tyler transferred to Rutgers in 2022 playing 11 games, of which nine were starts at left tackle for the Scarlet Knights. He helped the offense total 460 yards at Michigan State.

Tyler concluded his collegiate career at Louisville in 2023 playing 14 games for the Cardinals. In 2023, Louisville’s offense averaged 30.71 points per game, 236.64 passing yards per game, 178.5 rushing yards per game, 415.1 yards per game, and 54 touchdowns. They finished the season 10-4 and appeared in the 2023 DIRECTV Holiday Bowl against USC.
