The St. Louis Battlehawks re-signed defensive tackle Kobe Smith on Tuesday according to the UFL Transactions page.

Kobe Smith is six foot two and weighs 312 pounds. The 26-year-old from Lawrenceville, Georgia, signed with the St. Louis Battlehawks on January 20, 2024. In 2024, Smith made 20 tackles (11 solo, 9 assists) and three tackles for loss in nine games.

Smith signed with the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted free agent in 2020. He later spent time with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Philadelphia Eagles, and Atlanta Falcons. He was on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers practice squad when they won Super Bowl LV.

Smith signed with the San Antonio Brahmas on March 29, 2023. In 2023, Smith made seven tackles (2 solo, 5 assists) and half a sack in three games. Later, he signed with the New York Giants making seven tackles (2 solo, 5 assists) in three preseason games before being placed on the practice squad.

Collegiately, Smith played four seasons at South Carolina (2016-19) with 84 tackles (39 solo, 45 assists), seven tackles for loss, and two sacks in 48 games for the Gamecocks.
