The Rutgers Scarlet Knights (4-0) hosted the Washington Huskies (3-2) on Friday night from SHI Stadium. Rutgers had 299 yards on offense (115 yards passing, 184 yards rushing), and 15 first downs to defeat Washington 21-18 to remain undefeated in the Big 10.

Rutgers quarterback Athan Kaliakmanis completed 14 of 24 passes (58.3%) for 115 yards, one touchdown, and three carries for eight yards. Running back Kyle Monangai had 25 carries for 132 yards, one touchdown, and one catch for five yards, while Samuel Brown V had five carries for 44 yards and one touchdown.

Wide receiver Ian Strong made five catches for 40 yards, and one touchdown, and Kenny Fletcher made four catches for 21 yards. Rutgers’s defense made 77 tackles and five pass breakups.

Washington had 521 yards on offense (314 yards passing, 207 yards rushing), and 23 first downs. Quarterback Will Rogers completed 26 of 36 passes (72%) for 306 yards, two touchdowns, and two carries for five yards. Running back Jonah Coleman had 16 carries for 148 yards and one catch for five yards.

Wide receiver Denzel Boston made six catches for 125 yards, and two touchdowns, and Jeremiah Hunter made six catches for 67 yards. Kicker Grady Gross went 1 for 4 in field goals with a long of 22 yards. Washington’s defense made 65 tackles, three tackles for loss, one sack, and four pass breakups.
