The Delaware Fightin’ Blue Hens (4-0) hosted the Scared Heart Pioneers on Saturday night from Delaware Stadium. Delaware had 414 yards on offense (239 yards passing, 175 yards rushing), and 23 first downs to shut out the Pioneers 49-0.

Delaware quarterback Zach Marker completed 17 of 27 passes (63%) for 183 yards, and four carries for six yards. Running back Saeed St. Fleur had six carries for 39 yards, and one touchdown, while Quincy Watson had six carries for 24 yards, and one touchdown.

Wide receiver Phil Lutz made two catches for 62 yards, and one touchdown, while Sean Wilson made two catches for 31 yards and two touchdowns. Delaware’s defense made 62 tackles, eight tackles for loss, 5 sacks, one interception, one pass breakup, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery.

Sacred Heart had 129 yards on offense (78 yards passing, 51 yards rushing), and 11 first downs. Quarterback John Michalski completed 14 of 22 passes (64%) for 78 yards, one interception, and 12 carries for -18 yards. Running back Jalen Madison had 10 carries for 30 yards and one catch for 10 yards.

Wide receiver Kevin McGuire made three catches for 24 yards, while Elijah Ford made three catches for 16 yards. Sacred Heart’s defense made 75 tackles, two tackles for loss, one interception, and three pass breakups.
