The B.C. Lions released wide receiver Isaiah Wooden on Monday according to the CFL Transactions page.

Isaiah Wooden is five foot nine and weighs 170 pounds. The 24-year-old from San Diego, California, signed with the Atlanta Falcons as an undrafted free agent on May 10, 2024. The Falcons released him on July 30, 2024.

Then, the Los Angeles Chargers signed Wooden on August 12, 2024. He played two preseason games making one catch for two yards. The Chargers released him on August 17, 2024. The B.C. Lions signed Wooden on September 10, 2024.

Collegiately, Wooden played one season at Dixie State University (Now Utah Tech University) in 2018 making seven catches for 177 yards, two touchdowns, seven carries for 61 yards, one touchdown, eight kick returns for 288 yards, and one touchdown in one touchdown in nine games for the Trailblazers.

Next, Wooden transferred to Kent State University (2019-21) making four catches for 94 yards, one touchdown, one carry for six yards, and one kick return for 25 yards in four games for the Golden Flashes.

Then, Wooden transferred to Southern Utah University (2022-23) making 58 catches for 1,052 yards, 15 touchdowns, 15 carries for 126 yards, one touchdown, 14 kick returns for 386 yards, and six punt returns for 30 yards in 11 games for the Thunderbirds.
