San Antonio Brahmas sign three players including RB La’Damian Webb

The San Antonio Brahmas signed running back La’Damian Webb, wide receiver Aaron Nelson, and defensive end John Morgan on Thursday according to the UFL Transactions page.

La’Damian Webb is five foot seven and weighs 210 pounds. The 24-year-old from Opelika, Alabama, attended the Miami Dolphins rookie minicamp in 2024.

Collegiately, Webb played one season at Jones College in 2019 with 156 carries for 940 yards, 10 touchdowns, 12 catches for 151 yards, two touchdowns, and one tackle in 9 games for the Bobcats. He was named First Team All-MACCC and the NJCAA Second Team All-American.

Next, he transferred to Florida State in 2020 with 69 carries for 369 yards, three touchdowns, and nine catches for 68 yards in seven games for the Seminoles. Then, he returned to Jones College in 2021 with 220 carries for 1,400 yards, 14 touchdowns, 10 catches for 113 yards, and one tackle (1 solo) in nine games.

He concluded his collegiate career at South Alabama (2022-23) with 395 carries for 2,070 yards, 45 catches for 357 yards, three touchdowns, and one tackle (1 solo) in 23 games for the Jaguars. He was named Third Team All-Sun Belt in 2023.

Aaron Nelson is six foot and weighs 180 pounds. A native of Hampstead, Maryland, Nelson was drafted by the Houston Roughnecks (XFL) in the eighth round (57th pick) of the 2023 XFL Draft. In 2023, he played one game recording no stats.

He became a free agent after the Houston Roughnecks were not included in the XFL and USFL merger forming the United Football League, and the brand was transferred to the Houston Gamblers.

Collegiately, Nelson played four seasons at Delaware Valley University (2017-19, 2021) making 75 catches for 1,395 yards, 12 touchdowns, and one carry for 20 yards in 41 games for the Aggies.

John Morgan is six foot one and weighs 252 pounds. The 24-year-old from Upper Marlboro, Maryland, signed with the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent on May 10, 2024. He played one preseason game making one tackle (1 solo) and one sack. The Patriots released him on August 14, 2024.

Collegiately, Morgan played five seasons at Pittsburgh (2018-22) making 73 tackles (45 solo, 28 assists), 23 tackles for loss, 14 sacks, two pass breakups, and three forced fumbles in 53 games for the Panthers. Then, Morgan transferred to Arkansas in 2023 making 15 tackles (8 solo, 7 assists), four tackles for loss, two sacks, one forced fumble, and one pass breakup in 11 games for the Razorbacks.
