The Toronto Argonauts signed defensive backs Bryce Hampton and Delonte Hood to future contracts that will start in 2025 according to the CFL Transactions page.

Bryce Hampton is five foot eleven and weighs 200 pounds. A native of Las Vegas, Nevada, Hampton played for the Vegas Knight Hawks (IFL) in 2024 making 78 tackles (57 solo, 21 assists), one tackle for loss, eight interceptions for 121 yards, 20 pass breakups, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, and three kick returns for 50 yards in 16 games. He was named First Team IFL and the IFL Defensive Rookie of the Year.

Collegiately, Hampton played one season at Mesa Community College in 2017 as a wide receiver making nine catches for 86 yards, two touchdowns, and four tackles (1 solo, 3 assists) in four games for the Thunderbirds.

Next, Hampton transferred to Snow College in 2019 as a defensive back making 10 tackles (8 solo, 2 assists), three interceptions for 31 yards, eight pass breakups, and 10 punt returns for three yards in eight games for the Badgers.

Then, Hampton transferred to Adams State University in 2021 making 51 tackles (36 solo, 15 assists), one tackle for loss, one sack, seven interceptions for 55 yards, two touchdowns, 16 pass breakups, one forced fumble, 22 catches for 383 yards, five touchdowns, 20 carries for 114 yards, completed one pass for 17 yards, and 13 punt returns for 114 yards in 11 games for the Grizzlies.

Hampton concluded his collegiate career at Purdue in 2022 making 42 tackles (30 solo, 12 assists), two tackles for loss, three pass breakups, and one punt return for 22 yards in 14 games for the Boilermakers.

Delonte Hood is five foot eleven and weighs 192 pounds. The 23-yard-old from Washington, D.C., signed with the Cincinnati Bengals as an undrafted free agent on May 13, 2022. He played three preseason games making 10 tackles (8 solo, 2 assists) and one pass breakup.

The Bengals released him on August 20, 2022. Then, Hood signed with the Denver Broncos on December 27, 2022. In the 2023 preseason, Hood made seven tackles and one pass breakup in three games. The Broncos released Hood on August 27, 2023.

The Arlington Renegades drafted Hood in the seventh round (54th pick) of the 2022 XFL Draft. He officially signed Hood on November 21, 2023. In 2024, Hood made 18 tackles (18 solo) and four pass breakups in eight games. The Renegades released him on August 5, 2024.

Collegiately, Hood played two seasons at Glenville State (2018-19) making 63 tackles (45 solo, 18 assists), 3.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, 9 interceptions for 86 yards, one touchdown, 23 pass breakups, and one punt return for -8 yards in 22 games for the Pioneers. He was named First Team All-Mountain East Conference in 2019.

Next, Hood transferred to Toledo in 2020 playing one game against Bowling Green but did not record any stats for the Rockets. Then, Hood transferred to Peru State University in 2021 making 21 tackles (16 solo, 5 assists), one interception for 21 yards, seven pass breakups, and one blocked kick in 10 games for the Bobcats.
