The Toronto Argonauts signed quarterback Tucker Horn to a future contract that starts in 2025 on Friday according to the CFL Transactions page.
Tucker Horn is six foot one and weighs 195 pounds. The 24-year-old Graham, Texas, went undrafted in the 2024 NFL Draft. In 2024, he attended the UFL Showcase in St. Louis and was a member of the Vegas Knight Hawks (IFL).
Collegiately, Horn began at Abilene Christian University in 2018 but did not play for the Wildcats. Then, he transferred to Trinity University (2019-23) completing 710 of 1,048 passes (68%) for 9,007 yards, 97 touchdowns, 17 interceptions, 160 carries for 150 yards, three touchdowns, and two catches for -3 yards in 42 games for the Tigers.
In 2023, he completed 247 of 348 passes (71%) for 3,178 yards, 34 touchdowns, three interceptions, and 43 carries for 55 yards in 12 games. He was named a three-time First Team All-SAA (2021-23), three-time SAA Offensive Player of the Year (2021-23), Dave Campbell’s Texas Football All-Texas Non-FBS Player of the Year in 2023, D3football.com Region 3 Offensive Player of the Year in 2023, and a Gagliardi Trophy finalist in 2023.
Horn led the Tigers to three SAA championships and two NCAA Playoff appearances. He finished his collegiate career ranking third in total offense (8,876), touchdowns (97), passing yards (9,007), completions (710), and attempts (1,048).
