The Hamilton Tiger-Cats signed wide receiver Justin Marshall to the practice squad on Saturday according to the CFL Transactions page.
Justin Marshall is six foot three and weighs 210 pounds. The 25-year-old from Conyers, Georgia, re-signed with the Toronto Argonauts on December 29, 2023. In 2024, Marshall made two catches for 28 yards, and one touchdown in two preseason games, and earned a spot on the practice squad. The Argonauts released him on October 8, 2024.
Marshall signed with the Atlanta Falcons as an undrafted free agent on May 12, 2023. The Falcons released him on June 16, 2023. Next, he signed with the Seattle Seahawks on August 17, 2023, and played two preseason games. He was targeted twice but made no catches. Then, the Toronto Argonauts signed Marshall on October 2, 2023, and spent the season on the practice squad.
Collegiately, Marshall played three seasons at Louisville (2018-21) making 36 catches for 544 yards and one touchdown in 36 games for the Cardinals. Then, he transferred to Buffalo in 2022 making 64 catches for 837 yards, nine touchdowns, and one kick return for 19 yards in 13 games for the Bulls.
