The Dallas Cowboys signed San Antonio Brahmas defensive lineman Jalen Dalton to the practice squad on Wednesday.
Jalen Dalton is six foot six and weighs 283 pounds. The 27-year-old from Clemmons, North Carolina, was drafted by the San Antonio Brahmas in the 2024 UFL Dispersal Draft. In 2024, he made 12 tackles (8 solo, 4 assists), four tackles for loss, two sacks, and three pass breakups in seven games before he was placed on the injured reserve list and missed the rest of the season.
Dalton signed with the Chicago Bears as an undrafted free agent on May 6, 2019. He also had stints with the New Orleans Saints, Atlanta Falcons, and Carolina Panthers. In 2022 with Atlanta, Dalton made 13 tackles (8 solo, 5 assists) and one tackle for loss in seven games.
Collegiately, Dalton played four seasons at North Carolina (2015-18) making 93 tackles (46 solo, 47 assists), 15 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks, seven pass breakups, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, and one blocked kick in 38 games for the Tar Heels.
