The Delaware Fightin’ Blue Hens (6-1) visited Robins Stadium on Saturday afternoon against the Richmond Spiders (5-2). Delaware had 324 yards on offense (288 yards passing, 36 yards rushing), and 21 first downs in a 28-9 loss.

Delaware quarterback Zach Marker completed 21 of 43 passes (49%) for 251 yards, one touchdown, and nine carries for -20 yards. Running back Marcus Yarns had seven carries for 31 yards and made one catch for six yards.

Wide receiver Phil Lutz made six catches for 93 yards, and one touchdown, while Nicholas Laboy made two catches for 56 yards. Delaware’s defense made 71 tackles, eight tackles for loss, and three sacks.

Richmond had 378 yards on offense (194 yards passing, 184 yards rushing), and 20 first downs. Quarterback Camden Coleman completed 16 of 23 passes (70%) for 194 yards, two touchdowns, 10 carries for 79 yards, and one touchdown. Running back Zach Palmer-Smith had 21 carries for 68 yards and one touchdown.

Wide receiver Nick DeGennaro made four catches for 81 yards, and one touchdown, while Ja’Vion Griffin made five catches for 69 yards. Maine’s defense made 48 tackles, five tackles for loss, four sacks, one forced fumble, one interception, and six pass breakups.
