The Rutgers Scarlet Knights (4-2) hosted the UCLA Bruins (2-5) on Saturday afternoon from SHI Stadium. Rutgers had 422 yards on offense (287 yards passing, 135 yards rushing), and 23 first downs but the Scarlet Knights lost to UCLA 35-32.

Quarterback Athan Kaliakmanis completed 18 of 30 passes (60%) for 287 yards, one interception, nine carries for 23 yards, and one touchdown. Running back Kyle Monangai had 19 carries for 106 yards, three touchdowns, and one catch for four yards.

Wide receiver K.J. Duff made three catches for 82 yards, and Ian Strong made three catches for 71 yards. Rutgers’s defense made 73 tackles, six tackles for loss, three sacks, and one pass breakup.

UCLA had 478 yards on offense (383 yards passing, 95 yards rushing), and 24 first downs. Quarterback Ethan Garbers completed 32 of 38 passes (84.2%) for 383 yards, four touchdowns, nine carries for 48 yards, and one touchdown. Running back Jalen Berger had 10 carries for 28 yards, one catch for nine yards, and one touchdown.

Tight end Moliki Matavao made six catches for 104 yards, while T.J. Harden made five catches for 34 yards, and one touchdown. UCLA’s defense made 48 tackles, one tackle for loss, one sack, three pass breakups, and one interception.
