The Calgary Stampeders signed wide receiver Terrell Vaughn to a future contract starting in 2025 on Monday according to the CFL Transactions page.
Terrell Vaughn is five foot seven and weighs 175 pounds. A native of Oxnard, California, Vaughn attended the Seattle Seahawks rookie minicamp in 2024.
Collegiately, Vaughn played two seasons at Ventura Community College (2019-21) making 149 catches for 1,715 yards, 20 touchdowns, three carries for -11 yards, 12 kick returns for 314 yards, 11 punt returns for 139 yards, one touchdown, and three tackles (3 solo) in 22 games for the Pirates.
He was named a two-time First Team All-SCFA and CCCFCA All-American honors. Vaughn was also named the team’s Offensive MVP in 2019 and helped the Pirates win the Northern Conference title.
Then, Vaughn transferred to Utah State (2022-23) making 145 catches for 1,557 yards, 16 touchdowns, 17 carries for 75 yards, one touchdown, 28 kick returns for 730 yards, one touchdown, and one tackle (1 solo) in 26 games for the Aggies.
In 2023, Vaughn made 89 catches for 933 yards, 11 touchdowns, four carries for three yards, and nine kick returns for 227 yards in 13 games. He was named Second Team All-MWC and an All-MWC Honorable Mention.
