Calgary Stampeders sign wide receiver Marcus Washington to a future contract

The Calgary Stampeders signed wide receiver Marcus Washington to a future contract starting in 2025 on Tuesday according to the CFL Transactions page.

Marcus Washington is six foot two and weighs 190 pounds. The 24-year-old from St. Louis, Missouri, went undrafted in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Collegiately, Washington played three seasons at Texas (2019-21) making 25 catches for 366 yards, and three touchdowns in 30 games for the Longhorns. Then, Washington transferred to Nebraska (2022-23) making 39 catches for 647 yards, and one touchdown in 18 games for the Cornhuskers. In 2023, he made eight catches for 176 yards in six games before an injury ended his season.
