The Michigan Panthers released defensive lineman Keshawn Banks on Tuesday according to the UFL Transactions page as he is signing with an NFL team.

Keshawn Banks is six foot three and weighs 251 pounds. The 24-year-old from Albuquerque, New Mexico, signed with the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent on May 5, 2023. In 2023, Banks made five tackles (5 solo) and one pass breakup in three preseason games.

He spent the 2023 season on the practice squad. In 2024, Banks made one tackle (1 assist) in two preseason games. The Packers released him on August 27, 2024.

Collegiately, Banks played five seasons at San Diego State (2018-22) making 139 tackles (63 solo, 76 assists), 42 tackles for loss, 13 sacks, one forced fumble, and four pass breakups in 59 games, of which 47 were starts for the Aztecs.

His 42 tackles for loss is the sixth most in program history. He was named a two-time Second Team All-Mountain West Conference (2019, 2021), and a two-time All-Mountain West Conference Honorable Mention (2020, 2022).
