The Delaware Fightin’ Blue Hens (7-1) hosted the University of Albany Great Danes (3-5) on Saturday afternoon from Delaware Stadium. Delaware had 353 yards on offense (173 yards passing, 180 yards rushing), and 19 first downs as they defeated the Great Danes 28-14.

Quarterback Nick Minicucci completed 18 of 27 passes (66%) for 173 yards, and three touchdowns. Running back Marcus Yarns had 13 carries for 127 yards, one touchdown, two catches for 43 yards, and two touchdowns.

Wide receiver JoJo Bermudez made six catches for 46 yards, while Ja’Carree Kelly made two catches for 30 yards and one touchdown. Delaware’s defense made 74 tackles, 8 tackles for loss, one interception, eight pass breakups, and one blocked kick.

Albany had 342 yards on offense (208 yards passing, 134 yards rushing), and 22 first downs. Quarterback Myles Burkett completed 14 of 28 passes (50%) for 208 yards, one touchdown, one interception, and 11 carries for 33 yards. Running back Faysal Aden had 10 carries for 57 yards, while Jojo Uga had 11 carries for 38 yards and one touchdown.

Wide receiver Seven McGee made three catches for 77 yards, and Jacari Carter made three catches for 45 yards. Albany’s defense made 70 tackles, five tackles for loss, one sacks, and two pass breakups.
