The Penn State Nittany Lions (7-0) visited Camp Randall Stadium on Saturday night against the Wisconsin Badgers (5-3). Penn State had 419 yards on offense (246 yards passing, 173 yards rushing), and 22 first downs to beat Wisconsin 28-13.
Penn State quarterback Drew Allar completed 14 of 18 passes (77%) for 148 yards, one touchdown, and four carries for 8 yards. Backup quarterback Beau Pribula completed 11 of 13 passes (85%) for 98 yards, one touchdown, and six carries for 28 yards.
Running back Kaytron Allen had 11 carries for 86 yards, one touchdown, and four catches for 22 yards. Wide receiver Harrison Wallace III made five catches for 67 yards, while Tyler Warren made seven catches for 46 yards. Penn State’s defense made 57 tackles, five tackles for loss, one interception, one touchdown, and four pass breakups.
Wisconsin had 298 yards on offense (217 yards passing, 81 yards rushing), and 16 first downs. Quarterback Braedyn Locke completed 22 of 42 passes (52.4%) for 217 yards, and one interception. Running back Tawee Walker had 22 carries for 59 yards and one touchdown.
Wide receiver Will Pauling made eight catches for 79 yards, while Vinny Anthony II made seven catches for 68 yards. Wisconsin’s defense made 67 tackles, three tackles for loss, and one sack.
