The Madrid Bravos signed quarterback Reid Sinnett for the 2025 season on Tuesday.
Reid Sinnett is six foot four and weighs 225 pounds. The 27-year-old from Johnston, Iowa, was claimed off waivers by the Houston Roughnecks on January 24, 2024. In 2024, Sinnett completed 117 of 187 passes (62.6%) for 1,136 yards, 5 touchdowns, 4 interceptions, 12 carries for 42 yards, and one touchdown in 10 games.
Sinnett signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent in 2020. Sinnett also had stints with the Miami Dolphins and Philadelphia Eagles. The San Antonio Brahmas signed Sinnett as a free agent on November 17, 2022. In 2023, Sinnett completed 13 of 19 passes (68.4%) for 97 yards, one touchdown, one interception, and one carry for ten yards in five games for the San Antonio Brahmas in 2023.
After the season, Sinnett signed with the Cincinnati Bengals completing 6 of 11 passes (54.5%) for 77 yards, and one touchdown in one preseason game against the Washington Commanders in 2023. He returned to San Antonio but was released on January 23, 2024.
Collegiately, Sinnett played four seasons at San Diego (2016-19) completing 275 of 423 passes (65%) for 33 touchdowns, 13 interceptions, 93 carries for 268 yards, seven touchdowns, one catch for 30 yards, and one touchdown in 45 games for the Toreros. He was named First Team All-PFL in 2019.
