The St. Louis Battlehawks re-signed wide receiver Blake Jackson for the 2025 season on Tuesday according to the UFL Transactions page.
Blake Jackson is five foot eleven and weighs 200 pounds. The 30-year-old from Houston, Texas, signed with the St. Louis Battlehawks on January 28, 2024. In 2024, Jackson made seven catches for 20 yards and six kick returns for 199 yards in 10 games.
Jackson signed with the Calgary Stampeders in 2018. A year later, Jackson signed with the Cleveland Browns as an undrafted free agent in 2019. In 2020, Jackson played for the Houston Roughnecks (XFL) making five catches for 50 yards and one touchdown in five games before the league ceased operations due to COVID-19. After Houston, Jackson signed with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in 2021 but suffered a season-ending injury.
The Seattle Sea Dragons drafted Jackson in the fourth round (32nd pick) in Phase 6 of the 2023 XFL Draft. In 2023, Jackson made 45 catches for 440 yards, two touchdowns, one kick return for 18 yards, and one punt return for four yards in ten games.
Collegiately, Jackson played three seasons at Mary Hardin-Baylor (2014-16) playing quarterback completing 311 of 487 passes (64%) for 4,311 yards, 49 touchdowns, 13 interceptions, 303 carries for 1,619 yards, and 28 touchdowns in 39 games for the Crusaders.
