The Arlington Renegades acquired defensive back Jayden Price from the Birmingham Stallions on Monday for defensive lineman Jeremiah Martin according to the UFL Transactions page.
Jayden Price is six foot and weighs 184 pounds. The 24-year-old from Derby, Kansas, signed with the Atlanta Falcons as an undrafted free agent on May 10, 2024. He played three preseason games making 14 tackles (9 solo, 5 assists). The Falcons released him on August 27, 2024.
The Hamilton Tiger-Cats signed Price on September 8, 2024. He spent a month on the practice squad and was released on October 8, 2024. The Birmingham Stallions signed Price on October 30, 2024.
Collegiately, Price played five seasons at North Dakota State (2019-23) making 107 tackles (73 solo, 34 assists), four tackles for loss, one sack, three interceptions for nine yards, 17 pass breakups, one forced fumble, three fumble recoveries, 63 punt returns for 910 yards, and five touchdowns in 71 games for the Bisons.
He was named Second Team All-MVFC, STATS Third Team All-American, and Phil Steele Fourth Team All-American in 2021, a two-time All-MVFC Honorable Mention, and a two-time National Champion.
Jeremiah Martin is six foot four and weighs 267 pounds. The 25-year-old from San Bernardino, California, signed with the Cleveland Browns as an undrafted free agent on May 12, 2023. In 2023, he made 8 tackles (4 solo, 4 assists), two sacks, and one pass breakup in four preseason games. The Browns released him on August 29, 2023.
Next, Martin signed with the New York Giants on January 1, 2024, and spent a week on the practice squad. The Giants released him on January 8, 2024. Then, the Cleveland Browns re-signed Martin on July 24, 2024.
In 2024, Martin made five tackles (3 solo, 2 assists) and one sack in three preseason games. The Browns released him on August 26, 2024. The Arlington Renegades signed Martin on November 4, 2024.
Collegiately, Martin played three seasons at Texas A&M (2018-20) making 11 tackles (6 solo, 5 assists) and three tackles for loss in 32 games for the Aggies. Then, he transferred to Washington (2021-22) making 54 tackles (33 solo, 21 assists), 12 tackles for loss, 9.5 sacks, 1 pass breakup, and two forced fumbles in 24 games for the Huskies. He was named First Team All-PAC 12 in 2022.
