The Villanova Wildcats (8-2) hosted the North Carolina A&T Aggies (1-9) on Saturday afternoon from Villanova Stadium. Villanova had 390 yards on offense (167 yards passing, 223 yards rushing), and 22 first downs as the Wildcats defeated the Aggies 31-3.

Villanova quarterback Connor Watkins completed 18 of 27 passes (66%) for 167 yards, one touchdown, seven carries for 31 yards, and two touchdowns. Running back David Avit had 15 carries for 67 yards, one touchdown, and made one catch for 21 yards.

Wide receiver Devin Smith made seven catches for 68 yards, while Jaylan Sanchez made three catches for 31 yards, and one touchdown. Villanova’s defense made 50 tackles, five tackles for loss, two sacks, and two pass breakups.

North Carolina A&T had 169 yards on offense (50 yards passing, 119 yards rushing), and nine first downs. Quarterback Braxton Thomas completed 4 of 13 passes (30.8%) for 30 yards, and eight carries for 49 yards. Running back Justin Fomby had three carries for 26 yards.

Wide receiver Jayvonne Dillard made two catches for 19 yards, and Ger-Cari Caldwell made one catch for 14 yards. North Carolina A&T’s defense made 63 tackles, seven tackles for loss, one sack, and one pass breakup.
