The Penn State Nittany Lions (8-1) hosted the Washington Huskies (5-5) on Saturday night from Beaver Stadium. Penn State had 486 yards on offense (220 yards passing, 266 yards rushing), and 24 first downs on their way to a 35-6 victory over the Huskies.
Penn State quarterback Drew Allar completed 20 of 28 passes (71.4%) for 220 yards, one touchdown, and three carries for 12 yards. Running back Kaytron Allen had 20 carries for 98 yards, one touchdown, and made one catch for eight yards.
Wide receiver Julian Fleming made two catches for 19 yards, and one touchdown, while Harrison Wallace III made five catches for 84 yards. Penn State’s defense made 58 tackles, 9 tackles for loss, five sacks, two pass breakups, and one interception.
Washington had 193 yards on offense (119 yards passing, 74 yards rushing), and 14 first downs. Quarterback Will Rogers completed 10 of 13 passes (77%) for 59 yards, and one interception. Running back Jonah Coleman had 11 carries for 24 yards.
Wide receiver Denzel Boston made two catches for 35 yards, and Giles Jackson made five catches for 23 yards. Washington’s defense made 82 tackles, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery.
