Delaware routes Campbell to extend their winning streak to three games

The Delaware Fightin’ Blue Hens (9-1) hosted the Campbell Fighting Camels (3-8) from Delaware Stadium in their final home game of the regular season. Delaware had 529 yards on offense (230 yards passing, 299 yards rushing), and 29 first downs in a 41-22 win to extend their winning streak to three games.

Delaware quarterback Nick Minicucci completed 16 of 26 passes (61.5%) for 230 yards, four touchdowns, one interception, 11 carries for 78 yards, and two touchdowns. Running back Marcus Yarns had 17 carries for 134 yards.

Wide receiver Phil Lutz made four catches for 75 yards, and two touchdowns, while JoJo Bermudez made three catches for 56 yards, and one touchdown, and Jake Thaw made two catches for 38 yards, and one touchdown. Delaware’s defense made 57 tackles, three tackles for loss, three sacks, two interceptions, and three pass breakups.

Campbell had 321 yards on offense (267 yards passing, 54 yards rushing), and 15 first downs. Quarterback Mike Chandler II completed 16 of 31 passes (51.6%) for 267 yards, two touchdowns, two interceptions, and eight carries for -5 yards. Running back Mark Biggins had 13 carries for 38 yards and one touchdown.

Wide receiver V.J. Wilkins made five catches for 172 yards, and two touchdowns, while Randall King made three catches for 34 yards. Campbell’s defense made 64 tackles, two tackles for loss, one interception, two pass breakups, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery.
