The Montreal Alouettes re-signed wide receiver Daniel Oladejo, linebacker K.D. Davis, and kicker Jose Carlos Maltos on Monday according to the CFL Transactions page.

Daniel Oladejo is five foot ten and weighs 192 pounds. The 25-year-old from Ottawa, Ontario, was drafted by the Ottawa Redblacks in the second round (17th pick) of the 2023 CFL Draft. In 2023, he made one catch for 14 yards in one game.

In 2024, Oladejo played in two preseason games making two catches for 38 yards (19.0 AVG). In the regular season, he made three catches for 24 yards (8.0 AVG) in 14 games. The Redblacks released Oladejo on November 3, 2024.

The Montreal Alouettes signed Oladejo on November 5, 2024, and spent a week on the practice squad. The Alouettes released him on November 10, 2024.

Oladejo played five seasons at the University of Ottawa (2017-22) making 63 catches for 781 yards, six touchdowns, and six kick returns for 112 yards. In his senior year, Oladejo was named OUA Second Team All-Star after making 32 catches for 399 yards, and three touchdowns in eight games for the Gee-Gees. In addition, he was named Gee-Gees Team Award for Outstanding Offensive Player and the President’s Award.

K.D. Davis is six foot and weighs 230 pounds. The 24-year-old from Ennis, Texas, signed with the Saskatchewan Roughriders on January 18, 2024. Davis played one preseason game against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in 2024 making one tackle.

The Roughriders released Davis on May 22, 2024. The Montreal Alouettes signed Davis on June 18, 2024. In 2024, Davis made one tackle and one tackle on special teams in two games. The Alouettes released him on November 10, 2024.

Collegiately, Davis played five seasons at North Texas (2018-22) with 428 tackles (200 solo, 228 assists), 32 tackles for loss, 13 sacks, one interception, four pass breakups, one forced fumble, and four fumble recoveries in 61 games for the Mean Green.

He was named First Team All-C-USA by the coaches in 2021, a First Team All-C-USA by Phil Steele in 2022, C-USA Linebacker of the Year by PFN in 2022, and the C-USA Defensive Player of the Year in 2022.

Jose Carlos Maltos is five foot ten and weighs 221 pounds. The 33-year-old from Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, re-signed with the Alouettes on December 15, 2023. In 2024, Maltos made 33 of 36 field goals (91.7%) with a long of 53 yards, made 22 of 24 extra points, and 45 kickoffs for 2,880 yards (64%) with a long of 84 yards in 14 games.

The New Orleans Saints signed Maltos as an undrafted free agent on May 10, 2013. He was released on August 6, 2013. The B.C. Lions signed Maltos on May 18, 2018, but was released on June 10, 2018. The Ottawa Redblacks drafted Maltos in the first round (2nd pick) of the 2019 CFL-LFA Draft. He dressed in 11 games in three seasons for the Redblacks.

The Montreal Alouettes signed Maltos on December 9, 2022. In 2023, he converted 7 of 9 field goals (77.8%), made 5 of 7 extra points, two singles, and ten kickoffs for 610 yards with a long of 76 yards in two games.

Collegiately, Maltos played at the Autonomous University of Nuevo León. He was named to the ONEFA Liga Mayor Team of the Decade for the 2010s by Mundo del Ovoide.
