The Munich Ravens signed quarterback Russell Tabor on Saturday.
Russell Tabor is six foot two and weighs 215 pounds. The 21-year-old from Charlotte, North Carolina, played for the Osos Rivas (LNFC) in 2024 completing 110 of 170 passes (64.7%) for 1,491 yards, 23 touchdowns, four interceptions, 25 carries for 146 yards, and four touchdowns in seven games leading the Rivas to Spanish Bowl XXX. Collegiately, Tabor spent three seasons at North Carolina (2021-23) but did not see any action for the Tar Heels.
Tabor played at Charlotte Country Day High School where he completed 199 of 413 passes (48.1%) for 3,078 yards, 33 touchdowns, 15 interceptions, 144 carries for 697 yards, and one touchdown in 28 games. He led his team to the 2018 NCISAA DII state title and won the conference championship in 2019. Tabor went 16-6 as a starter in football.
He was named First Team All-Conference and All-State. Tabor was also a recipient of the Lavender Cup (Team MVP) and was the Charlotte Observer High School Heisman runner-up in 2020. In addition to football, Tabor played lacrosse and basketball. He was the team captain in both sports. In his senior season, he led the lacrosse team in goals and points.
