The Rhein Fire signed quarterback Chad Jeffries on Sunday.

Chad Jeffries is six foot two and weighs 220 pounds. The 31-year-old from San Dimas, California, completed 225 of 331 passes (68%) for 2,888 yards, 35 touchdowns, 6 interceptions, 83 carries for 337 yards, and 10 touchdowns in 12 games. In the 2024 ELF playoffs, Jeffries completed 16 of 28 passes (57.1%) for 215 yards, two touchdowns, and 11 carries for 21 yards.

Jeffries began his Europe football career in 2017 with the Marburg Mercenaries (GFL) completing 232 of 404 passes (57.4%) for 3,045 yards, 28 touchdowns, 12 interceptions, 106 carries for 305 yards, and three touchdowns in 11 games.

Next, Jeffries played for the Danube Dragons (AFL) for four seasons completing 690 of 1,140 passes (60.5%) for 10,460 yards, 107 touchdowns, 18 interceptions, 276 carries for 1,498 yards, and 14 touchdowns in 48 games.

In 2022, he completed 159 of 254 passes (62.6%) for 2,852 yards, 33 touchdowns, four interceptions, 58 carries for 196 yards, and 7 touchdowns in 12 games leading the Dragons to a perfect season on their way to winning the Austrian Bowl and was named MVP.

The Munich Ravens signed Jeffries on December 10, 2022. In 2023, he completed 285 of 408 passes (70%) for 3,535 yards, 30 touchdowns, 5 interceptions, 66 carries for 363 yards, and two touchdowns in 12 games. He was named an ELF All-Star after the season.

Collegiately, Jeffries started at San Diego State (2012-13) but did not play for the Aztecs. Then, Jeffries transferred to Azusa Pacific (2014-16) completing 272 of 482 passes (56%) for 3,862 yards, 27 touchdowns, 11 interceptions, 242 carries for 1,042 yards, and 10 touchdowns in 42 games for the Cougars. He was named Second Team All-GNAC in 2015.
