The St. Louis Battlehawks signed defensive tackle Isaiah Mack and linebacker Olakunle Fatukasi on Wednesday according to the UFL Transactions page.
Isaiah Mack is six foot one and weighs 305 pounds. The 28-year-old from Tunnel Hill, Georgia, signed with the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted free agent on May 10, 2019. He played a season and a half in Tennessee making 10 tackles (5 solos, 5 assists), one tackle for loss, 1.5 sacks, and one fumble recovery in 19 games, of which one was a start.
The Titans released him on November 2, 2020. The New England Patriots acquired him via waivers on November 3, 2020. He made one tackle (1 assist) in two games. He became a free agent after the 2020 season.
Mack spent time with the Denver Broncos and Pittsburgh Steelers before signing with the Baltimore Ravens on November 17, 2021. He played two seasons in Baltimore making six tackles (2 solos, 4 assists), two tackles for loss, and one sack in four games. The Ravens released him on December 26, 2022.
Mack also spent time with the New York Jets, Seattle Seahawks, Washington Commanders, and the Miami Dolphins. In 2024, Mack made eight tackles (4 solos, 4 assists) and one sack in three preseason games for Miami. The Dolphins released him on August 27, 2024.
Collegiately, Mack played four seasons at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (2015-18) making 222 tackles (110 solos, 112 assists), 41 tackles for loss, 21 sacks, two pass breakups, three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, and one blocked kick in 48 games for the Mocs.
He was named First Team All-SoCon in 2018, Defensive Player of the Year in 2018, Second Team All-SoCon in 2017, and First Team All-American by HERO Sports.com in 2018. His 41.0 career tackles for loss ranks third all-time at UTC behind Davis Tull (2011-14 – 60.0) and Keionta Davis (2013-16 – 43.0)
Olakunle Fatukasi is six foot two and weighs 240 pounds. The 25-year-old from Far Rockaway, New York, signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent on May 13, 2022. In 2022, he made 21 tackles (12 solos, 9 assists) and 1.5 sacks in three preseason games. In the regular season, he made six tackles (4 solos, 2 assists) in 13 games. The Buccaneers released him on December 13, 2022.
Fatukasi also spent time with the Denver Broncos, New England Patriots, and the Kansas City Chiefs. Then, Fatukasi signed with the Los Angeles Rams on October 11, 2023. In 2023, he made one tackle (1 solo) in one game. In 2024, Fatukasi made 13 tackles (8 solos, 5 assists) in three preseason games. The Rams released him on August 25, 2024.
Collegiately, Fatukasi played five seasons at Rutgers (2017-21) making 302 tackles (153 solos, 149 assists), 28 tackles for loss, 7 sacks, 7 pass breakups, four forced fumbles, and four fumble recoveries in 53 games for the Scarlet Knights. He was named Second Team All-Big Ten in 2020 and Third Team All-Big Ten in 2021.
