The D.C. Defenders signed defensive end Nelson Ceaser on Friday according to the UFL Transactions page.

Nelson Ceaser is six foot three and weighs 264 pounds. The 23-year-old from Missouri City, Texas, signed with the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent on May 3, 2024. In 2024, he made three tackles (2 solos, 1 assist) in three preseason games. The Seahawks released him on August 27, 2024.

Collegiately, Ceaser played five seasons at Houston (2019-23) making 103 tackles (59 solos, 44 assists), 28.5 tackles for loss, 18 sacks, one interception for 32 yards, four pass breakups, two forced fumbles, one forced fumble, and two blocked kicks in 41 games for the Cougars.

In 2023, he made 43 tackles (28 solos, 15 assists), 13.5 tackles for loss, 9.5 sacks, one pass breakup, and one blocked kick in 11 games. He was named First Team All-Big XII.
