The San Antonio Brahmas signed long-snapper Dalton Godfrey on Tuesday according to the UFL Transactions page.
Dalton Godfrey is six foot two and weighs 240 pounds. The 26-year-old from Cedar Falls, Iowa, went undrafted in the 2023 NFL Draft.
Collegiately, Godfrey played five seasons at South Dakota (2018-22) making 11 tackles (2 solos, 9 assists), one forced fumble, and two fumble recoveries in 47 games for the Coyotes. In 2022, South Dakota led the Missouri Valley Football Conference and ranked in the top 10 nationally in net punting during the regular season at 39 yards per punt.
He was named a two-time First Team All-MVFC (2021-22), Second Team All-MVFC (2020), and FCS All-American by Phil Steele in 2021, and was the first special teams player in coach Bob Nielson’s 30 years to be named a team captain.
