The Birmingham Stallions re-signed running back Demetric Felton and defensive tackle Carlos Davis on Tuesday according to the UFL Transactions page. The Stallions also released defensive end Bradlee Anae, who is signing with the New York Jets.
Demetric Felton is five foot nine and weighs 190 pounds. The 26-year-old from Memphis, Tennessee, was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the sixth round (211th pick) of the 2021 NFL Draft. He played two seasons in Cleveland with eight carries for 20 yards, 20 catches for 189 yards, two touchdowns, 10 kick returns for 183 yards, 39 punt returns for 269 yards, and five tackles (3 solos, 2 assists) in 24 games. The Browns released him on August 29, 2023.
Felton also spent time with the Cincinnati Bengals, Chicago Bears, and the Indianapolis Colts. In 2024, Felton signed with the Chicago Bears on July 28, 2024. He played two preseason games with four carries for 13 yards and two catches for 10 yards.
The Bears released him on August 11, 2024, and he was acquired off waivers by the Indianapolis Colts on August 12, 2024. He had 13 carries for 57 yards, one touchdown, and two catches for eight yards in two preseason games. The Colts released him on August 27, 2024.
The Birmingham Stallions signed Felton on November 12, 2024. The Stallions released him on December 2, 2024, and he signed with the Chicago Bears on December 3, 2024. The Bears released him on December 10, 2024.
Collegiately, Felton played four seasons at UCLA (2017-20) with 233 carries for 1,101 yards, seven touchdowns, 99 catches for 958 yards, eight touchdowns, 26 kick returns for 611 yards, one touchdown, and seven tackles (5 solos, 2 assists) in 36 games for the Bruins. He was named Second Team All-PAC 12 in 2020.
Carlos Davis is six foot two and weighs 320 pounds. The 27-year-old from Blue Springs, Missouri, re-signed with the Birmingham Stallions on January 19, 2024.
In 2024, Davis made 23 tackles (13 solo, 10 assists), four tackles for loss, seven sacks, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery in 9 games helping the Stallions win their third straight championship (2 USFL, 1 UFL).
The Stallions released him on August 7, 2024, and he signed with the Cincinnati Bengals on August 8, 2024. Davis played three preseason games making 5 tackles (2 solos, 3 assists), and three quarterback hits. The Bengals released him on August 27, 2024.
Davis was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the seventh round (232nd pick) of the 2020 NFL Draft. Davis played 12 regular season games for the Steelers in three seasons with 12 tackles (8 solo, 4 assists), three tackles for loss, and one sack.
The Birmingham Stallions signed Davis as a free agent on October 6, 2023, but he was later released to return to the Atlanta Falcons and was placed on the practice squad. He played three preseason games for the Atlanta Falcons in 2023 with two tackles (2 solo).
Collegiately, Davis played four seasons at Nebraska (2016-19) with 125 tackles (59 solo, 66 assists), 16 tackles for loss, 9.5 sacks, eight pass breakups, one forced fumble, and two fumble recoveries in 46 games for the Cornhuskers. He was named All-Big Ten Honorable Mention in 2018.
Bradlee Anae is six foot three and weighs 260 pounds. The 26-year-old from Laie, Hawaii, was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the fifth round (179th pick) of the 2020 NFL Draft. He played two seasons in Dallas making two tackles (2 solos) in 11 games. He became a free agent after the 2021 season.
The New York Jets signed Anae on January 19, 2022. In 2022, he made two tackles (1 solo, 1 assist), and one sack in three preseason games. He spent the season on the practice squad. In 2023, he was placed on injured reserve and did not play the season. He became a free agent after the 2023 season.
The Atlanta Falcons signed Anae on May 13, 2024. In 2024, he made six tackles (3 solos, 3 assists), and 1.5 sacks in three preseason games. The Falcons released him on August 25, 2024. The Birmingham Stallions signed Anae on November 18, 2024.
Collegiately, Anae played four seasons at Utah (2016-19) making 135 tackles (86 solos, 49 assists), 41.5 tackles for loss, 30 sacks, four pass breakups, six forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries in 47 games for the Utes. He was named a two-time First Team All-PAC 12, Consensus All-American, and won the Morris Trophy in 2019.
