The Ottawa Redblacks re-signed defensive lineman Bryce Carter to a two-year contract extension through the 2026 season on Wednesday. Carter was set to hit the free agent market in February.
“Bryce is one of our league’s first defensive linemen, evidenced by his production over the last three seasons,” said Redblacks Head Coach Bob Dyce. “His ability to get to the quarterback, combined with his physicality in the run game are critical elements of our defense.”
Bryce Carter is six foot one and weighs 252 pounds. The 25-year-old from Steelton, Pennsylvania, re-signed with the Ottawa Redblacks on January 23, 2024. In 2024, Carter made 21 tackles and four sacks in 11 games.
