The Birmingham Stallions signed wide receiver Cade Johnson on Thursday according to the UFL Transactions page.
Cade Johnson is five foot ten and weighs 184 pounds. The 26-year-old from Papillion, Nebraska, signed with the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent on May 14, 2021. Johnson played three seasons in Seattle making two catches for 21 yards in three games.
In 2023, Johnson made one catch for six yards, one carry for two yards, and one kick return for 17 yards in two preseason games. He became a free agent after the 2023 season.
Collegiately, Johnson played five seasons at South Dakota State University (2017-22) making 171 catches for 2,948 yards, 29 touchdowns, 91 carries for 585 yards, four touchdowns, completed one pass for two yards, 57 kick returns for 1,517 yards, two touchdowns, 40 tackles (24 solos, 16 assists), 12 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks, one interception for nine yards, and two pass breakups in 98 games for the Jackrabbits. Johnson was named a two-time First Team All-MVFC (2018-19) and First FCS All-American in 2019.
