The Edmonton Elks are set to sign wide receiver Tre Odoms-Dukes on Friday according to The Canadian Press writer Dan Ralph. Ralph reported earlier on Friday that he was set to sign with the B.C. Lions but Edmonton entered the picture and he is heading to Alberta.
Tre-Odoms Dukes is six foot three and weighs 216 pounds. The 27-year-old from Pensacola, Florida, spent the entire 2024 season on the injured list. The Stampeders released him on December 20, 2024.
The Denver Broncos signed Dukes as an undrafted free agent on May 14, 2021. In 2021, Dukes suffered a lower-body injury and did not play in the preseason. The Broncos released him on August 26, 2021.
The Calgary Stampeders signed Dukes on February 14, 2022. In 2022, Dukes made 11 catches for 112 yards, and one touchdown in four games. In 2023, he made 60 catches for 686 yards and two touchdowns in 14 games.
Collegiately, Dukes played four seasons at South Florida (2017-20) making 32 catches for 400 yards, five touchdowns, and eight tackles (7 solos, 1 assist) in 35 games for the Bulls.
