The Memphis Showboats re-signed defensive lineman Josiah Bronson and signed running back DeWayne McBride, offensive lineman Nash Jensen, and defensive end Myles McHaney IV on Monday according to the UFL Transactions page.

Josiah Bronson is six foot three and weighs 295 pounds. The 27-year-old from Kent, Washington, signed with the New Orleans Saints as an undrafted free agent on May 10, 2021. He also spent time with the Cleveland Browns and Dallas Cowboys. In 2021, he combined to play 14 games making 12 tackles (8 solos, 4 assists), and one tackle for loss.

Then Bronson signed with the Miami Dolphins on September 5, 2022, and spent the season on the practice squad. In 2023, Bronson made six tackles (4 solo, 2 assists) in three preseason games. The Dolphins released him on August 28, 2023.

Bronson signed with the Memphis Showboats on December 26, 2023. In 2024, he made 12 tackles (9 solos, 3 assists), two tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, and one pass breakup in 10 games. The Showboats released Bronson on July 27, 2024, and he signed with the New England Patriots on July 28, 2024. Bronson played three preseason games making three tackles (3 assists).

The Patriots released him on August 26, 2024. The Indianapolis Colts signed Bronson on September 24, 2024. He spent over a month on the practice squad before the Colts released him on October 29, 2024.

Collegiately, Bronson started at Temple University (2015-16) but a knee injury sidelined him for the season in 2015. In 2016, he appeared in one game recording no stats. Then, he transferred to Washington (2018-20) with 42 tackles (25 solos, 17 assists), 5.5 tackles for loss, three sacks, and one fumble recovery in 29 games for the Huskies.

DeWayne McBride is five foot ten and weighs 209 pounds. The 23-year-old from Starke, Florida, was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the seventh round (222nd pick) of the 2023 NFL Draft. In 2023, McBride had 20 carries for 70 yards, two touchdowns, one catch for 11 yards, and three kick returns for 50 yards in three preseason games. He spent the 2023 season on the practice squad.

In 2024, McBride had 20 carries for 68 yards, two catches for 27 yards, and one kick return for 26 yards in three preseason games. The Vikings released him on August 29, 2024.

Collegiately, McBride played three seasons at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (2020-22) with 430 carries for 3,148 yards, 32 touchdowns, and four catches for 22 yards in 21 games for the Blazers. He was named First Team All-C-USA and the Conference-USA Offensive Player of the Year in 2022.

Nash Jensen is six foot four and weighs 329 pounds. The 25-year-old from Osseo, Minnesota, signed with the Carolina Panthers as an undrafted free agent on May 12, 2023. In 2023, Jensen played two preseason games. Jensen played 11 regular season games in 2023, of which five were starts. In 2024, he did not play in the preseason due to an injury and was released on August 21, 2024.

Collegiately, Jensen played five seasons at North Dakota State University (2018-22) playing left guard in 70 games for the Bisons. In 2022, North Dakota State’s offense averaged 34.3 points per game, 265.7 rushing yards per game, 135.1 passing yards per game, 400.8 total yards per game, 63 touchdowns, and allowed 37 sacks finishing 13-2 for the season losing to South Dakota State in the FCS National Championship. Jensen is a four-time FCS National Champion, First Team All-American, and First Team All-MVFC.

Myles McHaney IV is six foot three and weighs 230 pounds. A native of Macomb, Michigan, McHaney IV went undrafted in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Collegiately, McHaney IV started at Youngstown State (2018-19) but did not see any action for the Penguins. Next, he transferred to Upper Iowa University in 2021 making 20 tackles (15 solos, 5 assists), four tackles for loss, four sacks, and two forced fumbles in eight games for the Peacocks.

Then, he transferred to Prairie View A&M University (2022-23) making 48 tackles (30 solos, 18 assists), 4.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, one pass breakup, and one forced fumble in 21 games for the Panthers. In 2023, he made 29 tackles (19 solos, 10 assists), four tackles for loss, two sacks, and one forced fumble in 11 games.
