The Memphis Showboats re-signed defensive lineman P.J. Hall on Friday according to the UFL Transactions page.
P.J. Hall is six foot and weighs 308 pounds. The 29-year-old from Seguin, Texas, signed with the Memphis Showboats on October 23, 2023. In 2024, he made 11 tackles (7 solos, 4 assists), two tackles for loss, and one sack in six games.
The Oakland Raiders drafted Hall in the second round (57th pick) of the 2018 NFL Draft. He played two seasons with the Oakland Raiders with 48 tackles (34 solos, 14 assists), eight tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, and two pass breakups in 30 games.
The Raiders released him on August 4, 2020. Then, he signed with the Houston Texans on August 13, 2020. In 2020, he made 34 tackles (18 solos, 16 assists), two tackles for loss, and one sack in ten games.
The Seattle Sea Dragons drafted Hall in the 11th round (82nd pick) in Phase 3 of the 2023 XFL Draft. In 2023, he made five tackles (3 solos, 2 assists) in three games. The Sea Dragons released him on March 29, 2023. The San Antonio Brahmas signed Hall on April 17, 2023. He did not play a game for the Brahmas and was released on July 10, 2023.
Collegiately, Hall played four seasons at Sam Houston State (2014-17) with 280 tackles (159 solos, 121 assists), 85.5 tackles for loss, 36.5 sacks, four interceptions for 27 yards, 33 pass breakups, nine forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, and 14 blocked kicks in 56 games for the Bearkats. He is a two-time First Team All-Southland Conference and was named Defensive Player of the Year in 2016.
