The St. Louis Battlehawks re-signed defensive tackle Austin Faoliu on Friday according to the UFL Transactions page.
Austin Faoliu is six foot three and weighs 305 pounds. The 26-year-old from Santa Ana, California, signed with the St. Louis Battlehawks on February 19, 2024. In 2024, he made 12 tackles (4 solos, 8 assists), and one forced fumble in six games. In the 2024 UFL Playoffs, Faoliu made one tackle (1 assist).
The Dallas Cowboys signed Faoliu as an undrafted free agent in 2021. In 2021, Faoliu made two tackles (2 solos) in one game for the Cowboys against the Carolina Panthers.
The Seattle Sea Dragons drafted Faoliu in the fourth round (31st pick) in Phase 3 of the 2023 XFL Draft. In 2023, he made 24 tackles (11 solo, 13 assists), two tackles for loss, one sack, and two pass breakups in ten games. After the season, Faoliu signed with the Seattle Seahawks making one tackle (1 assist) in two games before he was sent to the practice squad.
Collegiately, Faoliu played four seasons at Oregon (2017-20) making 124 tackles (60 solos, 64 assists), 10 tackles for loss, five sacks, one pass breakup, and three forced fumbles in 43 games for the Ducks.
