The Arlington Renegades re-signed offensive linemen Ricky Lee and signed offensive lineman Spencer Rolland on Tuesday according to the UFL Transactions page.
Ricky Lee is six foot six and weighs 305 pounds. The 25-year-old from Jacksonville, Florida, signed with the Carolina Panthers as an undrafted free agent on May 12, 2023. In 2023, Lee played three preseason games to earn a spot on the practice squad.
He would later play six regular season games. In 2024, Lee played in three preseason games. The Panthers released him on August 27, 2024. He would spend time on the Minnesota Vikings and Cleveland Browns practice squads. The Arlington Renegades signed Lee on December 10, 2024.
However, the Renegades released him on December 22, 2024, and he signed with the New York Giants on December 23, 2024. He spent the rest of the season on the practice squad.
Collegiately, Lee played two seasons at North Carolina Central (2018-19) playing right tackle in 23 games for the Eagles. Then, he transferred to North Carolina A&T (2021-22) playing left tackle in 22 games for the Aggies.
In 2022, North Carolina A&T’s offense averaged 28.64 points per game, 185.6 rushing yards per game, 197.09 passing yards per game, 382.7 total yards per game, and 39 touchdowns finishing 7-4 in the season. He was named Second Team All-Big South Conference.
Spencer Rolland is six foot six and weighs 306 pounds. The 25-year-old from Burnsville, Minnesota, signed with the Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted free agent on May 10, 2024. In 2024, he played three preseason games. The Vikings released him on August 26, 2024. The Green Bay Packers signed Rolland on October 15, 2024. He spent several weeks on the practice squad before the Packers released him on December 9, 2024.
Collegiately, Rolland played two seasons at Harvard (2019, 2021) playing right tackle in 20 games for the Crimson. In 2021, Harvard’s offense averaged 32.40 points per game, 162.3 rushing yards per game, 189.70 passing yards per game, 352.0 yards per game, and 40 touchdowns finishing 8-2 for the season finishing in third place in the Ivy League. He was named First Team All-Ivy League.
Then, Rolland transferred to North Carolina (2022-23) playing right tackle in 26 games for the Tar Heels. In 2023, North Carolina’s offense averaged 34.54 points per game, 192.7 rushing yards per game, 298.54 passing yards per game, 491.2 total yards per game, and 55 touchdowns finishing 8-5 for the season. The Tar Heels lost to West Virginia in the Duke’s Mayo Bowl in 2023. Rolland was named an All-ACC Honorable Mention.
