The Arlington Renegades signed quarterback Luke Lehnen on Thursday according to the UFL Transactions page.
Luke Lehnen is six foot one and weighs 202 pounds. A native of Chatham, Illinois, completed 196 of 283 passes (69%) for 3,258 yards, 43 touchdowns, five interceptions, 99 carries for 979 yards, 15 touchdowns, punted the ball two times for 71 yards (35.5 AVG), and one tackle (1 solo) in 15 games.
In Stagg Bowl LI, Lehnen completed 18 of 26 passes (69.2%) for 298 yards, four touchdowns, and 15 carries for 64 yards leading the North Central College Cardinals to defeat the Mount Union Purple Raiders 41-25 for the program’s third national championship.
Collegiately, Lehnen played four seasons at North Central College (2021-24) completing 751 of 1,087 passes (69%) for 12,658 yards, 162 touchdowns, 94 interceptions, 430 carries for 3,327 yards, 51 touchdowns, one catch for -3 yards, punting the ball 19 times for 742 yards (39.1 AVG) with a long of 60 yards, four touchbacks, seven from inside the 20-yard line, four from 50-plus yards, and four tackles (3 solos, 1 assist) in 59 games for the Cardinals.
He was named a two-time First Team All-CCIW, First Team Division III All-American by the Associated Press, Offensive Player of the Year by the Associated Press, and a two-time winner of the Gagliardi Trophy. His 162 passing touchdowns set a new NCAA Division III record.
