The Birmingham Stallions signed linebacker Tae Crowder on Friday according to the UFL Transactions page.
Tae Crowder is six foot one and weighs 235 pounds. The 27-year-old from Pine Mountain, Georgia, was drafted by the New York Giants in the seventh round (255th pick) of the 2020 NFL Draft. He played three seasons in New York making 232 tackles (124 solos, 108 assists), nine tackles for loss, two sacks, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, one touchdown, two interceptions for 26 yards, and eight pass breakups in 41 games.
Crowder also spent time with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Los Angeles Chargers. The Tennessee Titans signed Crowder on December 26, 2023. In 2023, he appeared in two regular-season games. He became a free agent after the 2023 season ended.
Collegiately, Crowder played four seasons at Georgia (2016-19) making 122 tackles (50 solos, 72 assists), 10 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, two interceptions for 56 yards, seven pass breakups, one forced fumble, two fumble recoveries, and one touchdown in 43 games for the Bulldogs. He helped Georgia win three straight SEC Championships.
