The B.C. Lions signed running back D’Vonte Price on Wednesday according to the CFL Transactions page.
D’Vonte Price is six foot two and weighs 215 pounds. The 25-year-old from Punta Gorda, Florida, signed with the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted free agent on May 13, 2022.
In 2022, he made 11 carries for 40 yards, four catches for 11 yards, and one tackle (1 solo) in three preseason games. He appeared in one regular season game in 2022 recording no stats. He became a free agent after the 2022 season.
Collegiately, Price played five seasons at Florida International University (2017-21) making 369 carries for 2,203 yards, 15 touchdowns, 45 catches for 307 yards, one touchdown, eight kick returns for 131 yards, 10 tackles (9 solos, 1 assist), and one fumble recovery in 48 games for the Panthers. He was a two-time Conference USA Honorable Mention.
