The Toronto Argonauts are set to sign defensive back Jarrett Martin on Wednesday according to The New England Sports Review.
Jarrett Martin is six foot three and weighs 220 pounds. A native of Franklin, Massachusetts, Martin went undrafted in the 2024 NFL Draft.
Collegiately, Martin played four seasons at Rhode Island (2020-23) making 82 tackles (39 solos, 43 assists), 6.5 tackles for loss, three sacks, one interception for 16 yards, one touchdown, 10 pass breakups, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery in 31 games for the Rams.
In 2023, he made 34 tackles (22 solos, 12 assists), two tackles for loss, half a sack, and two pass breakups in nine games. In 2022, he was named Defensive Player of the Week on October 12, 2022, when he made five tackles (3 solos, 2 assists), 1.5 tackles for loss, half a sack, and one interception for 16 yards against Elon.
